Terry Johnson : The Godmother of NICU Nurses

 

Terry Johnson has over 35 years of experience working in the NICU, Special Care Nursery, Mother Baby Services, and Developmental Follow Up Services. She has served in multiple positions within the NICU, giving her extensive knowledge and experience on how to succeed in helping these little ones and their families.  Terry is a nationally known speaker and educator within the neonatal community. Terry is currently the Director of Clinical Education and Professional Development for

Prolacta Bioscience. Terry’s clinical interests include the immunobiology of human milk, strategies for the use of human milk in low birth-weight infants, the handling and clinical use of human milk and milk split products in the NICU, evidence-based nutritional management of preterm infants and reduction of the incidence, morbidity and mortality of Necrotizing Enterocolitis.
