Connections

The ONE Difference

More Than a Conference.

A community of change-makers.

The ONE Conference brings together NICU nurses and neonatal professionals who believe that improving care starts with each of us.

Our conference combines evidence-based education, practical bedside strategies, inspiring speakers, and meaningful connections with colleagues who share your passion for neonatal care.

But what truly makes ONE different is what happens AFTER the conference.

We don't want you to simply attend lectures, earn CE credits, and return to your unit with a notebook full of ideas that never get implemented.

We want you to leave inspired, equipped, and empowered to make ONE meaningful change in your NICU.

Whether you're a bedside nurse, educator, advanced practice provider, therapist, or NICU leader, you'll find opportunities to learn from experts, exchange ideas with colleagues, and discover strategies you can bring back to your team.

What Makes ONE Different?

ONE Conference 2027 brings together two essential areas of neonatal care—NeuroNICU and Small Baby Care—along with the developmental, family-centered, and quality improvement practices that connect them.

Our sessions focus on translating evidence into practical strategies that improve bedside care and long-term outcomes.

Because at ONE, we believe ONE person. ONE idea. ONE connection. ONE change can make a meaningful difference.

NeuroNICU Care

Supporting the developing brain—one assessment, one intervention, one moment at a time.

Protecting the developing brain through early recognition, advanced monitoring, neuroprotective interventions, and thoughtful bedside care.

Anticipated Topics Include:

neonatal neurological assessment, HIE and therapeutic hypothermia, seizure recognition, aEEG, NIRS, brain imaging, and neuroprotective care.

Small Baby Care

Improving care for the NICU’s smallest and most fragile patients.

Evidence-based approaches to caring for extremely premature and extremely low birth weight infants during their most vulnerable days and weeks.

Anticipated Topics Include:

thermoregulation, skin integrity, respiratory care, nutrition, infection prevention, neurodevelopment, and family-integrated care.

"I want to be the ONE to make change on my unit. I came here not knowing what that meant. I'm leaving knowing exactly what my first step is."
